Green Bay Packers star pass rusher Micah Parsons is inching closer to a return to the field. Parsons hasn't played since suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) during the Packers' Week 15 loss to the Denver Broncos on Dec. 14, 2025. The star also suffered some damage to his meniscus. A potential target of returning in Week 6 came and went without Parsons even getting back on the practice field, which begged the question – when will he actually play again? Head coach Matt LaFleur seemed to indicate that could be coming soon, at least in the form of a return to practice ahead of Week 9. "I sure hope so," LaFleur said on Oct. 27, acknowledging that it's a different answer than he has given previously. "At the end of the day, that's the medical decision]. Yeah, I'm itching [for] it, though, for sure." What does a Parsons return mean for the Packers? Here's what to know. See some of the season's most notable touchdown celebrations from around the NFL.
