Following the Marvin Harrison Jr. blockbuster trade, the wide receiver market is heating up ahead of the deadline. Teams are actively scouting impact targets, and we should expect more roster shifts as contenders look to load up for a playoff push.
Marvin Harrison Jr. may not be the last notable wide receiver to move prior to the Nov. 10 NFL trade deadline. ESPN's Dan Graziano and Jeremy Fowler cited multiple wideouts who could plausibly be dealt over the next few weeks. The Jacksonville Jaguars' Brian Thomas Jr. is the first name Graziano mentioned because the 2024 first-round pick is going backwards for the second straight season. He has just nine receptions for 105 yards and one touchdown. Fowler questioned whether the Jaguars would trade Thomas given their 4-1 start, and the NFL insider cited how Thomas' value goes a little beyond the raw stats. "His immense skill set requires defensive backs to play him deep, which opens the field for Washington and Meyers," Fowler said. "But if Jacksonville gets a good offer, it would be foolish not to consider it." He had a similar opinion on the Cleveland Browns' Jerry Jeudy, who has fallen behind rookies Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion in the pecking order. "The Browns are improved and need veteran help, so my sense is while they are not actively shopping Jeudy, a strong offer could change that," Fowler reported.
