Cooper Flagg cards are seemingly the crème de la crème of the $14.5 billion sports trading card market. The most expensive sports trading card to have ever sold featuring a single player is the Cooper Flagg 2026 Topps Chrome Update Basketball 1-of-1 Rookie Debut Patch Autograph (PSA Gem-Mint 10). This sold for a whopping $8.04 million on Fanatics Collect this past September. And it looks like the hype train for the 'Maine Event' isn't slowing down any time soon. This is proven to be true by the 2025 Topps Motif Cooper Flagg ROOKIE NBA LOGOMAN PATCH AUTO 1/1 RRA-CF, Unscratched Redemption card's sale. It sold for $2.16 million on Fanatics Collect's Premier Auction on October 23. Such a high value for this card comes from a variety of reasons. Aside from being a 1/1 and autographed by the man himself, it is part of the high-end, more artistically inclined 2025-26 Topps Motif Basketball collection. The kicker with this card, however, is that it does not currently exist, as it hasn't been produced yet. Despite the purchase having been completed, it will not appear in the buyer's Topps account. Only when it's produced will it appear, so whoever bought this card will have to wait an unknown amount of time to see what their card will actually look like, since the mock-up on Fanatics isn't what the actual card will look like.
