The two-time MVP hasn't played since Week 4 after suffering a high ankle sprain After a 4-1 start, the Baltimore Ravens have quickly lost ground in what is arguably the NFL's most competitive division. The Ravens have gone from first to last place in the AFC North after dropping their last two games. Both of those games were played without Lamar Jackson, who hasn't played since Week 4 after suffering a high ankle sprain. But there's good news coming for the Ravens. Jackson will return from his three-plus-game absence and start on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills, Ravens coach Jesse Minter said during his Friday media availability. CBS Sports' Matt Zenitz had previously reported that Jackson was expected to play this week. Jackson himself said Friday that he still feels pain when he plants his foot but described it as "bearable," according to ESPN. Apparently, he can bear it well enough to play for the first time since appearing to injure the ankle on the final play of the first half of Baltimore's win over the Tennessee Titansin Week 4. Jackson, 29, put up solid numbers during the season's first four games. In the games he's played, he's completed a whopping 70.8% of his passes (which is nearly six points higher than his career average) with six touchdowns against just one interception. He's also run for 144 yards and a score while averaging a gaudy 7.6 yards-per-carry, 1.5 yards higher than his career YPC average.
