Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry offered some advice to Anthony Edwards with the Minnesota Timberwolves guard sidelined for a stretch. Edwards will miss multiple weeks due to a knee injury. After Golden State's 119-114 win over Minnesota on Wednesday, Curry told reporters he reached out to the four-time All-Star after they've built a rapport through the U.S. national team. "I know he's gone through some stuff with the knee, but you just gotta have to do what you can with the rehab," he said. Curry battled ankle trouble early in his career and there were some fears it could be a problem that dogged him for years to come. That didn't prove to be the case, though injuries have limited the two-time MVP a bit as he got into his 30s. The 2019-20 was a nadir on that front as Curry played just five games after breaking his left hand. The prognosis for Edwards could be much worse. Barring any setbacks, he's going to return at some point this season. But watching your team from afar for multiple months is always a frustrating experience, especially when you have championship aspirations. Unfortunately for Edwards, there's no way to speed up the recovery process. That's often how those costly setbacks occur.
