The seven-time Super Bowl winner showed he has a high opinion of Ben Johnson's team when he did his weekly power rankings. When the person doing the ranking is the GOAT, then it carries a little more weight. Fox announcer/Raiders part owner Tom Brady saw what he needed to see from the Bears in Monday night's win over Seattle and decided they could jump in his Fox power rankings past several teams he had them ranked behind last week, following their win over his former team, New England. In fact, Brady moved the Bearsall the way from fifth to No. 1 in the NFL after the win over Seattle. It definitely didn't hurt that the winner of seven Super Bowl rings just saw the Bears beat the teams playing for the rings given away to end last season. "Last week, I asked if Chicago could go from No. 5 to No. 1 with a win in Seattle, and I'm a man of my word," Brady said, for Fox. "The Bears went into Seattle on Monday night and handled their business. D'Andre Swift scored three times, and when Seattle made it a one-score game late, Chicago answered. This is the best team in the league. Full stop. Best team in the league. Have elite QB play, best coach in the game, great OL play, weapons and now a game wrecker on defense, Dog walked the champs in their own building. Put the league on notice. pic.twitter.com/Op0FaJsQk3 And, oh yeah, Jeffery Simmons is anchoring the defense from now on. No big deal, right?"

The Chargers face the Texans this weekend, with several players expected to have better games.
The Atlanta Hawks are going to try to get another win over the Washington Wizards tonight and move to 6-4 for the season. This is going to be the first NBA Cup game of the season for the Hawks, and they would love to start off group play 1-0. In a group that includes the Boston Celtics, the Hawks need every win they can get. The big storylines in this game include Trae Young's return to Atlanta and the NBA Cup, but the Hawks are hoping to get Jalen Johnson back in this game as well. Johnson has missed the last two games with a hurt ankle and while Atlanta has been able to win those games, they would love to have their star forward back. Johnson is questionable for tonight's game, while Jock Landale, Asa Newell, and Mouhamed Gueye continue to be out, leaving the Hawks frontcourt lacking in depth. If Johnson were to miss another game, what will the starting lineup and rotation look like against the Wizards tonight? I think the Hawks are going to stick with the same starting lineup that they used on Wednesday against the Wizards if Johnson remains out. Flemings had a strong first start as a Hawk and I think that he is only going to get better the more experience he gets playing with the first unit. Nickeil Alexander-Walker has been the Hawks most consistent player this season and I think he could have another big game give how many threes the Wizards allow.
Malik Nabers has four straight 100-yard receiving games with backup QBs entering Sunday's game vs. Philadelphia What a difference a few months makes. During the preseason, we were all wondering if Malik Nabers would even be healthy for the start of the season after he had April clean-up surgery following the torn ACL and meniscus injury he suffered in 2025. Now, he looks like a top-five wide receiver who is building off a superb rookie year and poised to carry a rejuvenated Giants team to a division title, with a QB carousel in tow. Week 4: 6 catches, 112 yards, touchdown (Jameis Winston at QB) Week 5: 11 catches, 121 yards, touchdown (Jameis Winston at QB) Week 6: 12 catches, 165 yards (Jameis Winston and J.J. McCarthy at QB) He's the first player with four straight 100-yard receiving games, all with non-Week 1 starting QBs (for the sake of brevity, I'll call them "backups"), since Cris Carter in 1999. It's tied for the longest streak by any player since the 1970 merger, with the likes of Carter, Rob Moore, Jerry Rice and Carl Pickens. That means if he hits the century mark on Sunday vs. Philadelphia, he will be the only player since the merger with five straight 100-yard games with backup quarterbacks.
